Though the upper end of the range of prices offered Canadian farmers for spot deliveries of canaryseed eased during the week, both deferred bid levels and inter dealer markets were unchanged.

White proso millet markets in the United States were unchanged in both grower and inter dealer markets. Sunflower seed markets managed gains in spot markets, while deferred were slightly easier, suggesting expectations of easing demand after the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year.

Some observers think the pace of grower selling relative to the short term needs of exporters suggests production will not fall as much as some exporters assert.
