NEW DELHI - Jul 5/06 - SNS -- The Indian government is lengthening its ban on pulse exports from December 26 to March 31, 2007 in an effort to dampen domestic prices.
The export ban and a decision to allow duty free pulse imports until March 31 have proven controversial inside India.
