French Pea Sales Slump in May
PARIS - Jul 7/16 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France sank in May against slowing movement to all export destinations, according to data compiled by Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 19,955 metric tons (MT), less than half the 42,165 MT shipped the previous month, but more than double the 9,740 MT shipped the same month last year.
This kept season to date shipments well above last season, with clearances jumping from 130,330 to 297,395 MT for the eleven months spanning July through May.
