ETG Buys Globeway Bean Assets
TORONTO - Mar 24/21 - SNS -- ETG Commodities Inc. has acquired the Plum Coulee, Manitoba bean processing facility and related production assets from Globeway's Canada.
Rav Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer of ETG North America said the purchase will allow the company to diversify its pulses portfolio. The company has plans to upgrade the facilities.
The plant currently sources pinto, black, navy, great northern, white kidney, light red kidney, dark red kidney and cranberry beans from farmers in southern Manitoba.
