PANAMA - May 24/24 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were largely unchanged in quiet trading conditions during the past week.
Farmers continue to make relatively good progress planting this year's crops despite delays caused by rainy conditions in parts of the growing area in western Canada.
Those rains had a positive impact on soil moisture conditons in Saskatchewan. The provincial agriculture department said the week started with 6% of topsoil in province rated as having surplus moisture, 89% adequate and only 5% short.
