China's Sunflower Seed Exports Open On Strong Note
PANAMA - May 28/24 - SNS -- Shipments of sunflower seeds for China jumped compared to the previous month in March, data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available shows.
Total movement in the month reached 51,487 metric tons (MT), up 41% from the previous month's total of 36,404. So far exports have totalled 155,185 MT, up from 131,491 during the last calendar year.
Iraq was the biggest buyer, taking 8,207 MT. Iran was the second most important importer buying 6,487 MT, followed by Russia at 6,195 MT.
