China's Sunflower Seed Imports Open On Soft Tendency
PANAMA - May 28/24 - SNS -- Imports of sunflower seeds by China posted significant declines, slumping relative to the previous month in March, trade data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available shows.
Imports during the month totalled 9,246 metric tons (MT), down from 18,433 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 52,984, down 34% last year.
During the month, Kazakhstan was the largest shipper, shipping 4,597 MT. Russia was the second most important origin shipping 2,643 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 2,000 MT.
