Field Pea Exports From France Maintain Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Jun 14/24 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year continued their easier tone, with field pea shipments for France fell compared to the previous month in April, according to recent data from Eurostat.
Movement reached 6,377 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 58% from the 15,231 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 52,765 MT, compared to 60,699 during the previous calendar year.
In the month, China was the largest importer, taking 4,586 MT. Switzerland was the second most important destination buying 1,408 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 266 MT.
