Italy's Field Pea Imports Continue Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Jun 14/24 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Italy fell versus the previous month in April, the latest data from Eurostat reports.
Imports totalled 6,559 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 44% from the 11,725 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 45,428 MT, versus 52,124 during the previous calendar year.
Russia was the top origin during the month, selling 4,926 MT. Ukraine was the second most important shipper supplying 1,491 MT, followed by Argentina at 74 MT.
