Field Pea Imports By Spain Maintain Solid Trend
PANAMA - Jun 14/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in April rose sharply, soaring versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 2,930 metric tons (MT), up 207% from the previous month's total of 955. So far imports have totalled 86,379 MT, up from 56,419 during the last calendar year.
The number one supplier during the month was Poland, selling 1,979 MT. France was the second most important exporter selling 630 MT, followed by Canada at 150 MT.
