Birdseed Values Manage Uptick
PANAMA - Jun 14/24 - SNS - North Amercan birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note against expectations of a possible reduction in new crop supplies.
Seeding of this year's canaryseed crop is considered complete in western Canada, while farmers in the United States continue to plant sunflower in the main producing areas and finishing up millet seeding in some areas.
Canaryseed markets maintained their recent firm tone in spot and new crop shipping positions with old crop fill in buying noted from processing and exporters.
