PANAMA - Jun 21/24 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading on a generally easier note as attention shifts toward new crop harvest prospects.
Seeded area estimates for Canada and the United States will help markets get a sense of potential supply fundamentals for the coming marketing campaign.
Farmers in the United States had intended to increase land in peas from 957,700 to 990,000 acres, while Canadian growers initially planned to lift area from 3.05 to 3.12 million acres.
