Turkey's Field Pea Exports Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 5/24 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year kept up their easier trend, with field pea export shipments for Turkey were somewhat weaker, inching down relative to the previous month in April, judging from official statistics from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Exports reached 11,142 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 2% from the 11,360 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 112,810 MT, compared to 119,263 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most recent trade data revealed Iraq was number one consumer, buying 6,701 MT. Cameroon was the second most important destination buying 2,016 MT, followed by Sri Lanka at 988 MT.
