Dry Beans Ease Into New Crop

PANAMA - Jul 12/24 - SNS --International dry edible bean and pulse markets eased in spot shipping positions during the past week as attention shifted toward new crop shipping prospects now that seeding is essentially complete.

This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index which dec lined 4.7 points on the week, closing at 113.9.

Similarly, the global pulse price index dropped 3.6 points during the week to finish at 116 while the Canadian index declined 2.3 points to close at 105.
