Spot Lentils Continue Easing

Markets are also paying close attention to kharif season seeding progress in India, especially for tur or pigeon pea, believing this will have an influence on prospective demand for green lentils in the fall shipping period.

As of July 12, India's farmers had planted an estimated 6.232 million hectares of all pulses, well above the 4.95 million sown at the same time last year.
