France's Field Pea Exports Extend Easy Trend
PANAMA - Jul 16/24 - SNS -- Movement of field peas for France sank compared to the previous month in May, the most recent data from Eurostat reveals.
Total movement in the month reached 3,883 metric tons (MT), down 81% from the previous month's total of 20,351. So far shipments have amounted to 70,592 MT, down from 77,505 in the same period the last calendar year.
China was the number one buyer during the month, taking 3,095 MT. Switzerland was the second most important destination receiving 616 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 171 MT.
