Pulse Drop Harder Into New Crop

PANAMA - Jul 19/24 - SNS --Dry edible bean and pulse markets finished the week on a weakening note in spot shipping positions as markets in northern hemisphere net exportng orgins converge with new crop.

This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index which fell 6.4 points on the week, closing at 107.5.

Similarly, the global pulse price index dropped 3.9 points during the week to finish at 112.1 while the Canadian index sank 5.5 points to close at 99.5.
