Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Extend Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 24/24 - SNS -- Argentina's export shipments of kidney beans in May fell compared to the previous month, according to data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Total movement throughout the month reached 4,936 metric tons (MT), down 33% from the previous month's total of 7,327. So far export sales have amounted to 52,856 MT, down from 114,013 during the last calendar year.
Current trade data showed Brazil was number one consumer, buying 971 MT for the month. Venezuela was the second most important destination buying 919 MT, followed by Spain at 887 MT.
