Canaryseed Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/24 - STAT -- Canadian Canaryseed markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices offered to growers easing 3% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Canaryseed was CDN$43.04 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $44.31 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $46.50 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $40.20 per cwt in March.
