Large Green Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/24 - STAT -- Canadian Large Green Lentil markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices leaping 14% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Large Green Lentil was USD$58.72 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $51.72 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $66.80 per cwt in March, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $50.30 per cwt in August.
