Lentil Markets Steadier
PANAMA - Aug 2/24 - SNS -- Lentil markets were steadier during the past week, with spot and new crop values at parity in export markets and largely similar in grower markets.
Initial harvest activity was reported at the start of the week in Saskatchewan and parts of the United States.
Saskatchewan's agriculture department reported 1% was in the bin at the end of July, with another 4% ready to be straight combined. Progress was limited to southwestern crop districts.
