Sunflower Seed Exports From China Reveal Soft Month
PANAMA - Aug 8/24 - SNS -- China's export shipments of sunflower seeds during June eased versus the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Export sales reached 30,331 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 8% from the 32,897 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 251,332 MT, versus 215,883 in the same period the last calendar year.
Iran was the most important buyer for the month, buying 5,686 MT. Russia was the second most important consumer buying 4,885 MT, followed by Spain at 3,152 MT.
