Fimer Undertone In Birdseeds
PANAMA - Aug 9/24 - SNS - North American birdseed ingredients markets closed the week's trading ona moderately firmer note against strength in sunflower and white proso millet.
Canadian canaryseed was unchanged in new crop shipping positions, though spot markets are converging as newly harvested product becomes available.
As the week got underway 2% of the Canadian crop was in the bin, with another 1% in swath. This is the first time since 2007 that August opened with progress harvesting the crop in Saskatchewan.
