Hops Harvest Sinks 15%
WASHINGTON - Aug 12/24 - SNS -- Production of hops is forecast at 88.0 million pounds for 2024, down 15% from last year, according to the USDA.
Area harvested is forecast at 44,824 acres, down 17% from 2023. Yield is forecast at 1,963 pounds per acre, 48 pounds higher than the 2023 yield
