PANAMA - Sep 5/24 - SNS -- So far during the current marketing year kept up a softer trend, with chickpea movement for Australia shrank relative to the previous month in July, according to official statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total movement for the month reached 14,500 metric tons (MT), down 63% from the previous month's total of 38,816. So far exports have reached 378,035 MT, down from 484,425 during the previous marketing year.
The most important buyer during the month was India, buying 9,288 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important destination buying 1,582 MT, followed by Nepal at 905 MT.
