Broadbean Exports From Australia Record Slow Performance
PANAMA - Sep 5/24 - SNS -- Export shipments of broadbeans for Australia eased versus the previous month in July, official data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reports.
Total shipments throughout the month amounted to 45,183 metric tons (MT), down 7% from the previous month's total of 48,574. So far shipments have amounted to 463,759 MT, up from 409,137 during the previous marketing year.
Egypt was the most important buyer for the month, taking 36,064 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination buying 1,773 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,689 MT.
