Australia's Lentils Exports Maintain Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Sep 5/24 - SNS -- Export shipments of lentilss from Australia were little changed, dropping versus the previous month in July, official data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Shipments totalled 128,043 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 5% from the 134,269 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 1,235,703 MT, versus 1,360,978 in the same period the last marketing year.
For the month, India was the largest destination, buying 52,631 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important destination receiving 32,058 MT, followed by Egypt at 14,402 MT.
