VANCOUVER - Sep 11/24 - STAT -- American PNW 9mm Chickpeas markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices offered to growers rising 2% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for PNW 9mm Chickpeas was USD$41.29 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $40.31 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $43.00 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $38.00 per cwt in August.
