VANCOUVER - Sep 11/24 - STAT -- U.S. Black Bean markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices soaring 14% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Black Bean was USD$52.90 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $46.28 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags on an FOB plant basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $55.00 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $47.80 per cwt in September.
