VANCOUVER - Sep 11/24 - STAT -- U.S. Bean Index markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices inching 1% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Bean Index was 110 points, compared to an average annual market value of 111 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags on an FOB plant basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 122 points in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was 96 points in August.
