Spain's Field Pea Imports Record Improved Performance
PANAMA - Sep 16/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas during July posted decent increases, moving compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month amounted to 1,130 metric tons (MT), up 16% from the previous month's total of 970. So far imports have reached 88,868 MT, down from 272,055 during the last calendar year.
France was the most important export origin for the month, selling 1,017 MT. Argentina was the second most important shipper selling 47 MT, followed by China at 41 MT.
