Field Pea Imports By Italy Continue Easy Trend
PANAMA - Sep 16/24 - SNS -- Italy's imports of field peas in July plunged versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports for the month amounted to 457 metric tons (MT), down 88% from the previous month's total of 3,936. So far imports have reached 59,670 MT, down from 91,321 in the same period the last calendar year.
Argentina was the biggest shipper during the month, selling 216 MT. Canada was the second most important shipper supplying 100 MT, followed by Ukraine at 91 MT.
