China's Sunflower Seed Imports Continue Easy Tendency

PANAMA - Sep 17/24 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year continued their softer tone, with sunflower seed imports by China dropped compared to the previous month in July, according to available data from General Customs Administration of China.

Imports for the month totalled 8,645 metric tons (MT), down from 9,245 MT the previous month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 95,873, down 34% last year.

The most important shipper for the month was Bulgaria, shipping 4,875 MT. Kazakhstan was the second most important origin shipping 2,895 MT, followed by Russia at 871 MT.
