PANAMA - Sep 17/24 - SNS -- China's imports of mung beans in July fell compared to the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports totalled 52,980 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 21% from the 66,675 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 391,868 MT, compared to 418,788 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Current trade statistics reported Myanmar was most important export origin, supplying 33,641 MT for the month. Australia was the second most important export origin shipping 12,525 MT, followed by Uzbekistan at 3,821 MT.
