Turkey's Field Pea Exports Post Improved Oucome
PANAMA - Sep 18/24 - SNS -- Turkey's exports of field peas during July were up significantly, rising versus the previous month, judging from data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Export sales for the month totalled 11,235 metric tons (MT), up from 7,590 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the calendar year to 152,167, down 9% last year.
The most important destination throughout the month was Yemen, taking 2,100 MT. Tanzania was the second most important importer taking 2,000 MT, followed by Iraq at 1,966 MT.
