PANAMA - Sep 18/24 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a easier performance, with lentil exports from Turkey fell relative to the previous month in July, according to the most recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Movement reached 41,185 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 30% from the 58,840 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 373,070 MT, compared to 274,437 in the same period the last calendar year.
Current trade data revealed Sudan was most important consumer, buying 8,440 MT for the month. Iraq was the second most important importer taking 7,885 MT, followed by Egypt at 4,746 MT.
