Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Sep 18/24 - SNS -- Turkey's imports of sunflower seeds during July rose a little compared to the previous month, judging from data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports reached 19,383 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 1% from the 19,107 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 216,705 MT, compared to 647,962 during the last calendar year.
For the month, Other was the biggest origin, shipping 14,448 MT. China was the second most important export origin selling 3,759 MT, followed by Argentina at 469 MT.
