Slight Easing In Birdseeds
PANAMA - Sep 27/24 - SNS - Birdseed ingredient markets displayed a slightly easier undertone as available supplies of new crop product continue to increase.
White proso millet seed markets in the United States were easier in all delivery locations, resulting in declines in nominal asking prices on inter-dealer markets.
Though prices offered Canadian farmers for canaryseed were unchanged on the week, inter-dealer markets were nominally easier, reflecting increased competition with millet for the attention of domestic birdseed packagers.
