PANAMA - Sep 27/24 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets maintained their mixed tone during the past week in seasonal trading activity.
This yearâs Canadian harvest experienced some delays in the week ending September 23, with the result progress only advanced from 90% to 93% complete during that week. Though down from 98% by the third week of September last year, it is ahead of the previous five year average of 89.6%.
Farmers are expressing some concerns about potential quality losses on unharvested crops because of rain delays and forecasts of overnight frosts in many areas.
