Bulk Lentil Movement Starts 2024-25 Slow

WINNIPEG - Oct 1/24 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 2,700 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in August.

The CGC reports 24,600 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is up from the 123,600 MT shipped the previous month.

Reviewing lentil shipments by destination for the month, the CGC said 1,200 MT if No 1 Canada wennt to Mexico; and 1,400 MT of No 1 Canada to the United States.
