Australia's Broadbean Exports Reveal Slow Month

PANAMA - Oct 3/24 - SNS -- At this point in the current marketing year posted a easier month, with broadbean movement from Australia sank relative to the previous month in August, judging from the most recent data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Total export sales in the month amounted to 14,816 metric tons (MT), down 67% from the previous month's total of 44,511. So far shipments have reached 477,908 MT, up from 464,698 during the previous marketing year.

Vietnam was the top importer, buying 4,232 MT. Egypt was the second most important buyer buying 3,484 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,520 MT.
