PANAMA - Oct 3/24 - SNS -- At this point in this marketing year added to a weaker trend, with lentils exports from Australia sank relative to the previous month in August, according to available data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total exports during the month reached 69,330 metric tons (MT), down 43% from the previous month's total of 121,400. So far shipments have reached 1,298,389 MT, down from 1,498,183 in the same period the previous marketing year.
The top destination during the month was India, taking 36,143 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important buyer buying 14,146 MT, followed by Pakistan at 7,098 MT.
