Greens Lead Lentils Upward
PANAMA - Oct 4/24 - SNS -- The world's lentil markets continued to strengthen during the past week, led by solid advances in export asking prices for greens.
The net effect is the spreads between green and red lentils have been getting wider since the beginning of September.
Export asking prices for green lentils are at the upper end of their historic prices ranges, with both large greens now sitting at decile seven and small greens at decline eight. By contrast, reds are sitting around decile three.
