Field Pea Imports By Italy Record Improved Result
PANAMA - Oct 17/24 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Italy improved relative to the previous month in August, available data from Eurostat reveals.
Total imports throughout the month amounted to 8,734 metric tons (MT), up 1% from the previous month's total of 8,662. So far imports have reached 76,609 MT, down from 106,875 during the last calendar year.
Current trade statistics reported Ukraine was most important origin, supplying 8,684 MT in the month. Argentina was the second most important origin supplying 50 MT, followed by at 0 MT.
