Spain's Field Pea Imports Reveal Strong Performance
PANAMA - Oct 17/24 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain recorded major improvement, jumping compared to the previous month in August, trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports reached 5,014 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 344% from the 1,130 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 93,882 MT, versus 321,947 during the previous calendar year.
In the month, Lithuania was the number one export origin, supplying 4,244 MT. France was the second most important origin shipping 697 MT, followed by Ukraine at 67 MT.
