Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Reveal Strong Performance
PANAMA - Oct 22/24 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year recorded a better result, with kidney bean exports from Argentina rose sharply, jumping relative to the previous month in August, according to official trade statistics from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Movement totalled 32,990 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 86% from the 17,718 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 109,356 MT, compared to 198,632 during the last calendar year.
The most recent movement data reported Mexico was top destination, receiving 8,289 MT. Venezuela was the second most important importer buying 6,327 MT, followed by Guatemala at 5,641 MT.
