PANAMA - Nov 1/24 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were moderately firmer in normal trading activity during the past week.
With the North American harvests considered virtually complete, attention is shifting to ward selling what was grown and trying to attract grower market participation.
This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index, which gained 1.2 points to finish the week at 93.5 points. By contrast, both the global and Canadian pulse price indices were lower on the week. Canada's index declined 1.1 points to close at 95, while the global index dropped 1.2 points to finish at 105.3.
