Field Pea Exports From Canada Continue Solid Tone
PANAMA - Nov 5/24 - SNS -- Exports of field peas for Canada recorded smallincreases, inching up relative to the previous month in September, recent data from Statistics Canada reveals.
Export sales totalled 619,067 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 3% from the 16,524 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 635,591 MT, versus 539,813 in the same period the previous marketing year.
India was the largest destination for the month, taking 352,547 MT. China was the second most important importer buying 226,554 MT, followed by Cuba at 15,000 MT.
