Australia's Lentils Exports Post Better Result
PANAMA - Nov 7/24 - SNS -- Australia's exports of lentilss in September jumped versus the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Shipments for the month totalled 91,920 metric tons (MT), up from 64,753 MT the previous month. This increased exports so far during the marketing year to 1,385,733, down 17% last year.
The latest movement statistics revealed Bangladesh was number one destination, buying 35,703 MT. India was the second most important buyer buying 32,282 MT, followed by Sri Lanka at 10,148 MT.
