Few Changes In Birdseeds
PANAMA - Nov 15/24 - SNS - Birdseed ingredient markets were largely unchanged in relatively light trading interest during the past week.
North American sunflower harvests are advancing at an above average pace, helping relieve the supply fundamentals of a steep decline in seeded area on the short term needs of processors and exporters.
Final production estimates for U.S. sunflower and other birdseed ingredients will not be available until January 10. Statistics Canada's final production estimates for 2024 and any revisions to previous years will be released on December 5.
